B-tree gallery Busan presents Ham Doha's solo exhibition Blooming emotions, opening with the arrival of spring. The title does not merely indicate flowers in bloom but metaphorizes the very process by which emotions are generated and expanded. Through vivid colors and familiar motifs such as clovers, flowers and balloons, Ham Doha translates emotion into form and structure rather than symbol. Round, swelling balloons, layered petals and rhythmically arranged clovers visualize emotions condensing and expanding. The artist also personifies furniture—chairs named "Tom" and "Dona" carry distinct temperaments, forming a community that embraces joy, anger, love and the full spectrum of human feeling. "Blooming" here is a present-continuous tense: the gallery becomes a garden of emotions still in the making, where viewers naturally project their own memories and moods.
