The 'water drop' artist — internationally celebrated for his hyperreal water droplets painted on raw canvas, burlap, or newsprint. Working primarily from Paris since 1969, Kim established a singular visual language that fused Eastern meditative practice with Western realism. Kim Tschang-yeul Art Museum opened on Jeju Island in 2016.
