Yoo Geun-Taek is one of the defining voices of contemporary Korean ink painting. Working in ink, pigment, tempera, and hanji paper, he turns quiet everyday scenes — a corner of the city, a window view, a family moment — into meditations on time, life, and presence. Since his 2002 show at Dongsanbang Gallery and the landmark *Skin of Life* exhibition (Dongsanbang, 2007), his work has travelled to Gallery Hyundai, OCI Museum, Savina Museum, and institutions across Tokyo, Beijing, and New York.
