A towering figure in Korean figurative painting, Suh Yongsun has spent four decades interrogating history, collective memory, and the urban crowd. His signature red-blue palette and constructed compositions — spanning *Expanding Lines*, *Broken Color*, and his long-running self-portrait series — have been shown at MMCA, Hakgojae Gallery, Arko Art Center, and internationally in New York, Vienna, Paris, Osaka, and Bonn.
