Cho Hwan transforms industrial steel into figurative sculpture, most notably his recurring series of dogs. Trained between Seoul and New York, he translates weight and weld into forms that register as both animal and human, satirical and tender. He has held solo exhibitions at Dongsanbang Gallery (2009 · 2010 · 2012 · 2023), Dongduk Art Museum, POSCO Art Museum, Kumho Museum of Art, and internationally in New York and Hong Kong.
